Stock index futures are inching up, with contracts linked to the Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq ahead by 0.74%, before Week 2 of earnings season kicks into high gear. Investors will be particularly parsing reports this week, as results from the banks and financials only provided metrics on spending and lending in the economy. As other factors continue to bite businesses and consumers alike, it will be crucial to see how supply chain disruptions, inflation, higher energy costs and labor shortages affected the biggest U.S. corporations in Q3.

Prior Session was Cycle Day 2 (CD2): Mutual Fund Monday kicked into gear as indexes continued the current rally to cycle targets. Range was 43 handles on 1.037M contracts exchanged.
…Transition from Cycle Day 2 to Cycle Day 3
This leads us into Cycle Day 3 (CD3): Cycle targets have been exceeded as this rally continues to power higher, fulfilling 4500 upper range objective. As such, estimated scenarios to consider for today’s trading.
1.) Price sustains a bid above 4500, initially targets 4510 – 4520 zone.
2.) Price sustains an offer below 4500, initially targets 4490 – 4485 zone.
