Trade Strategy 9.13.24

S&P 500

Prior Session was Cycle Day 2: Normal CD2 unfolded as early MATD rhythms dominated the morning session, as outlined in prior DTS Briefing 9.12.24, with an afternoon push higher to fulfill 5500 cycle target. Range was 67 handles on 1.515M contracts exchanged.

…Transition from Cycle Day 2 to Cycle Day 3

This leads us into Cycle Day 3: Another 3 Day SUPER CYCLE with price exceeding over 200% of the average cycle range. MAY I HAVE SOME FRIES WITH THAT SUPER SIZE!  Bullish momentum may spill-over into today’s session, as prior session experienced several ALGO battles with sharp price moves. More of the same may be in-store for today’s trade activity, so approach it with a bit of caution being FRYDAY!

Our discipline of maintaining positioning that is aligned with market forces continues to serve us well, so stay the course.

As such, scenarios to consider for today’s trading.

Bull Scenario: Price sustains a bid above 5595, initially targets 5610 – 5615 zone.

Bear Scenario: Price sustains an offer below 5595, initially targets 5580 – 5575 zone.

PVA High Edge = 5606     PVA Low Edge = 5565         Prior POC = 5600
