Cycle Day 3: Welcome to Warsh’s World
If today’s session taught us anything…
It’s that the market apparently skipped breakfast, drank three espressos, attended an FOMC meeting, and then decided to fight everyone in the parking lot.
Welcome to Cycle Day 3.
🌙 Overnight Recap
The overnight session politely followed the script before the cash session decided to throw the script into the shredder.
✅ 7495 upside objective achieved.
✅ 7440 rotation completed.
Exactly as outlined in the DTS Briefing.
So far…
So good.
🎯 The Line in the Sand
Today’s auction revolved around one very simple number:
7450 ±5
Above it?
Institutions remained in charge.
Below it?
The market shifted from trend to repair.
Funny how thousands of algorithms, billions of dollars, and millions of traders can spend an entire day arguing over roughly ten points.
Markets are strange like that.
🟢 Bull Script
Acceptance above 7450 offered:
🎯 7475
🎯 7485
🎯 7495
Translation:
“Everything is fine…carry on.”
🔴 Bear Script
Lose 7450…
…and suddenly everyone discovers they’re “long-term investors.”
Initial downside objectives:
🎯 7425
🎯 7415
🎯 7405
Later, once sellers gained traction:
🎯 7377
🎯 7362
☕ Morning Session
The morning auction looked suspiciously like yesterday.
Lots of rotation.
Lots of chop.
Plenty of opportunities for impatient traders to donate to patient traders.
Several PTG members executed beautiful D-Level, Money Box, and RSPR trades while the market spent most of the morning pretending it had somewhere important to be.
It didn’t.
🚨 Then the Fed Happened…
At 2:00 PM…
Chairman Warsh entered the chat.
The Federal Reserve left rates unchanged…
…and algorithms collectively lost their minds.
Price exploded higher.
Everyone became bullish.
Then…
Price collapsed.
Everyone became bearish.
Then…
Price headed right back where it came from.
Somewhere during those thirty minutes…
A few day traders aged seven years.
📈 The Auction of the Day
Today’s scorecard looked something like this:
Morning selloff…
⬇️
Violent Fed rally…
⬆️
Upper targets completed…
⬇️
VWAP revisit…
⬇️
Low of day…
⬇️
New low of day…
Because apparently one trip wasn’t enough.
Today’s total range:
129 Handles
10-Day Average:
83 Handles
Translation:
The market traded roughly 55% more insanity than normal.
💰 0DTE Traders…
Today’s MVP award goes to…
The 0DTE options crowd.
Pump it.
Dump it.
Repeat until everyone’s confused.
As noted during the session:
“0DTE Hot Money pumped’em and dumped’em.”
Short.
Sweet.
Accurate.
📦 Closing Auction
Just when traders thought things might calm down…
The Market-On-Close imbalance showed up.
Started around:
-$1.9 Billion
Finished near:
-$4.4 Billion
Translation:
Apparently everyone decided they’d rather own cash than Nasdaq stocks.
🏆 Member Highlight
Bruce casually mentioned:
“I had a really good day today. Does that make me a Bear?”
Our official response remains unchanged:
“Congratulations…you are now a True American Patriot shorting the markets.”
We’re still waiting for the certificate to arrive.
🧠 PTG Intelligence
Today’s lesson wasn’t about predicting direction.
It was about respecting the auction.
Markets don’t care about opinions.
Markets care about liquidity.
The Fed simply provided today’s excuse for institutions to move inventory at warp speed.
The 7450 pivot remained the control point from start to finish.
Above it…
Buyers owned the auction.
Lose it…
The market became a repair project.
Simple.
Professional trading doesn’t require knowing what will happen next.
It requires recognizing what is happening now.
🎯 Final Thought
Cycle Day 3 once again reminded us of an important truth:
Probabilities provide the roadmap.
Price writes the story.
Everything else is just financial entertainment.
See you tomorrow.
Bring coffee.
And maybe a fresh pair of Depends…
