Today is Cycle Day 1 (CD1)…Strong start for first trading session as price rallied throughout the day achieving stated target 2695 as outlined in prior DTS Briefing 1.2.18. “Scenario 1: IF price penetrates and converts 2687, THEN upside targets 2695.”

Momentum may take price higher before CD1 normal decline to unfold which targets 2682.50 – 2679.50 zone.

Nasdaq 100 (NQ)

NAZ reversed opening weakness and vaulted higher eclipsing prior weekly high (6492.00) negating year-end FAANG stock selling. Next objective higher targets 6540 50 level.

HOD  ATR Range Projection: 2705.90; LOD ATR Range Projection: 2685.10; Cycle Day 1 Low: 2683.00 3 Day Central Pivot: 2684.00; 3 Day Cycle Target: 2708.50; 10 Day Average True Range: 13.65; VIX: 9.52

Scenario 1: IF price penetrates and converts PH (2696.00), THEN upside targets 2702.50, followed by 2704.75 – 2606.25 zone.

Scenario 2: IF price violates and converts 2692.25 to lower resistance, THEN downside targets 2688.50, followed by 2685 – 2683.25 zone.
