Trade Strategy 10.16.25

S&P 500 (ES)

Prior Session was Cycle Day 1: “The Money Box Reversal”

The day opened with early strength and optimism — a “fade-the-fear” vibe among traders convinced every dip was another golden ticket. Spoiler: it wasn’t.

Right on cue, the Cycle Day 1 pattern played its hand — an early rally that sucked in the hopefuls before flipping the switch and fading into a D-Level Money Box reversal that had chart watchers whispering, “Go figure.”

PTGDavid reaffirmed the early bullish lean until structure broke — and when it did, it was swift and decisive.
By mid-morning, textbook PTG cycle targeting guided price into reversal territory, and the “big boyz” made sure the weak hands paid the tuition.

Range was 115 handles on 1.942M contracts exchanged

Transition from Cycle Day 1 to Cycle Day 2

Transition into Cycle Day 2: Normally for CD2 we are anticipating some consolidation MATD rhythms to begin the session.

Key levels such as the 3-Day Central Pivot Zone3 Day Cycle TargetD-Level Money Box zone to name a few in the PTG Toolbox continue to provide strong tradable locations.

***NOTE: D-Level Money Box Indicator now is equipped with “historical” zones. Contact PTGDavid for further information.

Expect elevated volatility (i.e. wide swings) until the markets absorb the recent information inflow and decides both the short-term and longer-term implications. So we’ll stay laser focused on risk-management.

Typically following “shock-event” sell-offs, markets enter a period of “repair” which may take days/weeks to work through. (Or just hours in this algorithmic marketplace!)

Be on Alert for more Trump Tape Bombs!

Of course, nothing changes for PTG…Simply follow your plan. Take only Triple A setups and manage the $risk. ALWAYS HAVE HARD STOP-LOSSES in-place on the exchange.

PTG’s Primary Directive (PD) is to ALWAYS STAY IN ALIGNMENT with the DOMINANT FORCE.

As such, scenarios to consider for today’s trading.
