Trade Strategy 9.15.25

S&P 500 (ES)

Prior Session was Cycle Day 3: Three-Day “Super Cycle” as this rally extended, notching new All-Time Highs traveling 145.75 pts (193.21%) of the 75.43 pt. average rally.

Contract Rollover to December (Z) from September (U) was also in full-effect with volume migration.

BIG Week on deck with FOMC, OPEX and VIXperation. This could certainly create a plethora of rhythmic crosscurrents, so be dam sure you have your trading plan well laid out in-advance.

According to @spotgamma September’s triple witching OPEX is among the largest on record with nearly $1 trillion in call delta notional expiring. As large options positions expire, stabilizing flows evaporate, which can increase volatility.

Range for this session was 39 handles on 698k (Z) contracts exchanged.

Transition from Cycle Day 3 to Cycle Day 1

Transition into Cycle Day 1: Today begins a new cycle with the average decline projection zone between (6643.25) and (6638.75).

Markets closed near their ATH’s with a bid, so momentum may spill-over into today’s session before the next decline unfolds.

We’ll mark 6670 as today’s Line in the Sand (LIS) with the initial reference support @ 6663 handle.

Value also continues to migrate higher giving validating support to the long thesis. Until there is a fracture break in the underlying structure, buying the dip has been the payday.
