S&P 500

Prior Session was Cycle Day 2 (CD2) Cash markets being closed for President’s Day reflected the light and narrow trading in the derivative futures markets. Prior range was 13 handles on 116k contracts exchanged.

…Transition from Cycle Day 2 to Cycle Day 3

This leads us into Cycle Day 3 (CD3): As long as price trades above CD1 Low (5013) during RTH, then the 3-Day Cycle Statistic (90%) will be satisfied. Primary Cycle Target (5054) has been fulfilled, with Secondary Target measuring 5084 handle.

Bulls would need to Clear & Convert (C&C) 5055 – 5060 zone for this level to be “in-play.” Bears are looking for a Violation of CD1 Low (5013) to break lower targeting 4972.

That said, our daily plan remains unchanged. Stay flexible and in-alignment with the primary intra-day forces. As such, scenarios to consider for today’s trading.

Bull Scenario: Price sustains a bid above 5010, initially targets 5025 – 5030 zone.

Bear Scenario: Price sustains an offer below 5010, initially targets 4995 – 4990 zone.

PVA High Edge = 5026       PVA Low Edge = 5021        Prior POC = 5023

Trade Strategy: Our tactical trade strategy will simply remain unaltered…We’ll be flexible to trade both long and short side from Decision Pivot Levels. Continue to focus on Bull/Bear Stackers and Premium/Discounts. As always, remaining in alignment with dominant intra-day force increases probabilities of producing winning trades.

Stay Focused…Non-Biased…Disciplined  ALWAYS USE STOPS!

Good Trading…David
