Trade Strategy 6.19.25

S&P 500 (ES)

Prior Session was Cycle Day 3: Positive 3-Day Cycle as price secured a rally above the CD1 Low (6000) which has an 90.48% historical performance track history.

Positive 3-Day Cycle Statistic is defined as Price Above the Cycle Day 1 Low on Cycle Day 3. P > CD1 on CD3.

It was an interesting session as sellers attempted to push lower during GLOBEX, but was rejected, trapping short sellers below the 6030 prior low.

During RTH session, the “squeeze-play” was in full-gear, rallying price up to the upper distribution edge near 6075. That was all the buyers had for fuel, as price proceeded to “stealthily” reverse direction, culminating in a press into the VWAP and the FED announcement presser. As JPOW “jib-jabbed” the price rhythm can be characterized as a series of “snaps and traps” for the remainder of the day, with price settling in the lower quartile of the day’s range. Range for this session was 56 handles on 1.112M contracts exchanged..
